Love It, Like It, Don’t Get It, Don’t Use It -

Which ever one you are, Facebook is THE place to be for being social.

Which group do you fall in to on Facebook?

Facebook has right around 700 million memebers and still growing every single day.

In contrast to Twitter, which has seen a leveling off in terms of new accounts created.  Facebook is growing with new faces, ready to be social.

I am going to assume that you know the basics of Facebook and how to sign up for a free account.  As a refresher to what Facebook actually is -

Facebook is a social networking site where you can meet people, make friends and share pretty much anything you want.

My focus lately has been on Facebook  Fan Pages -

If you are not familiar with them, here’s a briefing…

A fan page is a separate page you create in Facebook for just about anything – there are fan pages for Burt’s Bees, religious organizations, marketing groups, mastermind groups, the list goes on and on.

When you become a fan of one of these pages, you receive updates whenever something is posted on the wall.

Why I am liking fan pages more and more is that you can create one for each focus of your business.

If you have a review site and you are reviewing lots of different products, create a page for each focus – maybe a baby product review focus, makeup focus, personal care products focus.  Then as you review new products, you can link them up on your page – send a link to your blog or link right to the product.

The idea is that you can grow this page and establish it as another avenue to drive visitors to where you want them to go.

Plus, seeing as how Facebook has millions of eyeballs looking at it on a daily basis, conversing and sharing with others is quite easy.

My profitable bloggers fan page is quite new, but I sent the link out to a select group of individuals and whoa!  It built dramatically fast!

Fan pages are a great way to focus on one thing at a time.  Which is extremely beneficial to a busy blogger with a plate full of ideas and not enough time to implement them all.

So, utilize Facebook fan pages and watch your business grow and grow, right along with your sales!
