How to Write an eBook
Writing an eBook is one of the most productive and profitable things you can do for your business. While there are many way to write an eBook, we want the fastest and easiest way, right?
Using the information that I am about to give you will have your eBook done, completed and ready to go in no time flat.
Let’s jump right in…
Outline Your Ideas
The first thing to plan for your eBook is your outline.
For an example, let’s say you know you want to write an eBook about the Law of Attraction – that is your general niche.
You know you want to discuss what the law of attraction is and how it benefits your readers with accomplishing their hopes and dreams in life.
It’s All in the Title
Start with picking a title – The title sets the stage for the rest of your book – it tells prospective readers what your book is about and hopefully peaks their interest so they will purchase or download it.
When it comes to titles:
- Keep it short
- Make it concise
- Make it POP
- Make it appeal to THEM
For example – “The Law of Attraction and You,” “Attract a Better Life,” “You Can Attract Anything”
Content You Don’t have to Write
Next you would look at where you’re going to get the information for your eBook.
Here are some ideas –
- PLR Content – PLR can be reshaped, repurposed and reformatted to make a quite nice eBook. There are articles, reports and other eBooks all readily available that can be a great source of ideas. This is one of the quickest ways to get your eBook written.
- The World Wide Web – You can take facts and data from several sources as research and format it all into an eBook. If you are going to do a chapter on “What is the Law of Attraction,” go to the web and compile, from several sources, a good working description you can use. Do the same thing for the next chapter – compile from several sources.
- Your own library of content – You may have blog posts, articles you’ve written or that you’ve found, physical books – all of that can lend itself to a new eBook. It may take some cutting and pasting, but reworking what you have is the way I wrote my first eBook!
Using any of these ideas or a combination of them all, will get your eBook completed in no time.
And if you use the tools as mentioned here, you will learn how to write an eBook, while actually writing very little!

Hi Christine,
Producing an eBook or a report based on the content you have already produced is a great content marketing technique that allows you to promote your brand to a different market.
Great tips!
Thanks

Thanks for the great comment James! And yes, something that I’m working on as well – As you said in your post, it all start with quality something, whether its an eBook or your posts or even your relationships, it all boils down to the quality you offer.
Thanks again for visiting!
Hi Christine,
You are absolutely right – fast is great providing the quality remains at a high standard. At the risk of looking stupid (or plain tired) what does PLR content stand for?
I totally agree with using quotes/facts from other sources on the condition that everything is referenced appropriately.
Glad to come across another relatively newbie blogger.
Cheers, Caylie
