Why Challenges? Because they Work

challengeWhen was the last time you thought about doing something that you’ve never done before and then, for one reason or another, talked yourself out of it?

If you’re like me, the answer is probably several times.

Maybe even several times within a week.

Taking action on unfamiliar things is an incredible challenge and one that can result in ultimately taking no action at all.  The prospect of jumping out there and going it alone to learn or do something new is not necessarily what we yearn to do.

However…

Action equals growth

The most successful people are those that are willing to do what others are not.

Think back to when you first started your online business, actually any business for that matter.  Maybe you had an idea in mind of what you wanted to do, but maybe not.  Maybe you just jumped in because you were so eager to just get going.  Either way, it was all completely new.

And you did it.

Now maybe you’ve had your business for a while and it all is very comfortable – you know what to do and when to do it.  There are many ideas you’ve thought of implementing, but none of them have reached the tipping point.

And why?

Because doing the unfamiliar and venturing in to uncharted territory is just that – unfamiliar.

The good news is that there is a solution to this challenge and it’s with another Challenge!

The Challenge

One of the best ways to navigate your way through a challenge is with coaching.  Coaching helps you on a more personal level.  When you get stuck, there is a way to get answers, when you have a question, you have immediate responses.

My friends Maria Gudelis and Tina Williams are literally pulling out all the stops to bring this ultimate social challenge to you…

It’s an incredible 10 day challenge complete with live coaching where they will cover things like getting traffic from Facebook, how to convert that traffic into sales and how to brand yourself for profits now.

Plus, they’re including blueprints and formulas to optimize for Facebook profits.

The coaching, plus everything they are offering is easily worth 10 times as much as they are charging.  But, they are making it easy for everyone to get on board with social media and challenge yourself to explode your business.

So while challenges can be intimidating, they don’t have to be – and with the right coaching they can be overcome with little to no uncertainty.

  3. Hi Christine,

Getting a Coach makes sense – we do it every walk of life so why not in Business? When some joins a gym for the first time they may get a trainer to show them the ropes, it’s the same with any sports. There are always mentors and coached to lead the way.

It confuses me sometimes why some people are so averse to getting a business coach, especially when so much depends on the decisions one makes, day-in, day-out.

I got myself a mentor not too long ago and I’ve noticed a good difference in productivity and focus to get results…

    Thanks for sharing this;)

Could not agree with you more Noel.

I was once like that believing that having a coach is perhaps a sign of weakness, until I was mentored by the CEO of Europe’s largest retail organisation. He insisted that they find a business coach for me who I used to meet very often.

If you do not have questions about challenges in your business, then perhaps you are not pushing yourself hard enough. Any thing which we venture into for the first time will always present challenges and thus always leave us with questions we really want to get answered.

I have a regular Monday mastermind group where we always encourage members to ask a question to the group. They are often surprised that I always have questions that I want answers too, and I often explain it is simply because I learnt to never be ashamed of asking questions which will benefit my business.

In true disclosure style – I should stress that now I coach a number of Online Clients… having someone trusted to turn too can be invaluable…

    • Hi Noel,

      Glad you liked it!

I think the shift in focus is incredible – where at one point you are thinking oh, should I be doing this or maybe that; then when you finally get some direction, it seems like everything else falls into place.

      Priceless!

    Hi Christine,

A coach can provide encouragement, motivation and sympathy when needed. If you have a business on the internet, it can be a very lonely life indeed.

When your business is going through a slump, a coach can provide the reasons to keep going. Sometimes it’s easier talking to a coach than your family who never really understand what you do anyway!
