If you have been blogging or affiliate marketing or really anything that requires you to be online for any good amount of time, then you have probably seen several online “gurus” talking about their coaching programs.
I have been marketing online for a while now, but I haven’t experienced enough success to be able to call this “our full-time job.” As you all know, I want to change that.
Well, I am very pleased to say that I signed up for a coaching program last night.
I am very excited to see what a good, solid coaching program does for our business.
If you are a new reader at Insightful Mommy – welcome! And, let me bring you up-to-date as to what I am doing and where I am going with this.
I have been building businesses since graduating from college 10 years ago. My family had a bagel shop that my DH and I managed and operated for 7 days a week, 8 hours a day; until an offer came to sell and we did.
Then we went into real estate. My mother was also in real estate, so she provided valuable insight that 30+ years in the business offers. We did not work for the same broker at that time, but eventually we did create our own real estate group. DH and I worked together for 3 years in real estate before we had our first child. Then I left to stay home with him.
After DS got a little older, we started an insurance brokerage. We did life and health insurance. We ran our business completely online and over the phone, which brings us to our current online business.
Looking back at every business DH and I have had over the years, there is one thing in common with all of them.
We had a mentor or coach or support system or whatever you want to call it – someone was there to offer guidance and support.
That has been lacking in our Internet business.
Coaching is a big deal. The gurus have it right. Having someone there to go to ask questions and get ideas from is an invaluable resource. If I had only started a coaching program when I first started online, I would be a lot further along than I am now.
I am just starting out with this coaching program. I will pass along the information of which one I am doing, if I feel it is worth a referral.
Here’s to a support system!

So glad you found my blog and I’m glad you like the the confession. I have to remind myself daily LOL. Let me know how this goes for you. From what I’ve read you’ve been involved in many businesses so I’m sure you’ll succeed in every area. I believe social media or face to face it’s all the same- relationships.
Have a great day!

Hi Lisa,
You know that is what is all boils down to anyway – the world wide web is a vast place that we can easily get lost in. But bringing it back to the basics is what it’s all about.
Thanks so much for visiting!
